Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions people ask before they begin.

Here is what Zelnest can help you do, its limits and what to check before acting.

Understanding Zelnest

What is Zelnest for?

Zelnest helps you keep track of a situation: a disagreement with a supplier, housing charges, an invoice to check. You bring documents and messages into one case, see what still needs checking and prepare the next step.

Who is Zelnest for?

For individuals, and also for the self-employed and small businesses. You can keep your private cases and your work cases apart.

Which documents can I add?

Letters, invoices, contracts, statements or notices. You can add PDF files, photos of documents and Word or Excel files.

Does Zelnest read my documents?

Zelnest helps you read them: for example, it finds amounts, dates and references. The automatic reading can contain mistakes, especially with a blurry photo. Always compare with the original.

Does Zelnest replace a lawyer, an accountant or an official service?

No. Zelnest helps you prepare. For an important decision, contact a professional or the organisation concerned.

Which languages does Zelnest work in?

French, Dutch, German and English. A document written in another of these languages can get an indicative translation. The original remains the reference.

Using Zelnest and its limits

Does my information stay private?

Your cases are linked to your account. Before you first share anything with an external artificial intelligence service, Zelnest shows you what will be shared and waits for your agreement. You can withdraw this sharing.

Who checks the information?

You do. Zelnest’s suggestions are there to help, not to decide for you. Check them against your documents before you send a letter or make a payment.

I am self-employed. Is Zelnest useful for me?

Yes. You can follow a supplier invoice, an exchange with a client or a VAT due date, in cases kept apart from your private matters. Zelnest does not keep your accounts.

Does Zelnest send letters or payments for me?

No. Zelnest prepares a draft letter that you read, then you decide whether to send it. Zelnest makes no payments: it helps you follow the ones you enter.

Can I start with an incomplete case?

Yes. Start with what you have, then add to and check the information as you go.

Does Zelnest guarantee an answer or outcome?

No. Zelnest helps you prepare, without promising an answer or a result. Check information and draft replies against your documents and applicable sources before taking action.

Is the trial really free? Do I need a bank card?

Yes, the trial is free and needs no bank card and no commitment. Upload a document: Zelnest gives you a first reading with the amount, the deadline and the points to check, each with its source.

What if I want to go further?

Create a free account in the Zelnest app. Your trial is carried over into a case: you continue the analysis, prepare a letter and follow the replies. No bank card is needed, and nothing is sent or paid without your agreement.

What happens to my document? Does my information stay private?

You give your agreement before anything is read, and you stay in control: the document is read automatically. It is kept encrypted for 24 hours so you can come back or create your account without uploading it again, then deleted automatically if you go no further.

Can I rely on the result?

Every amount and every date comes from your document or from a cited legal text, with its source, so you can check it yourself. The percentages are estimates calculated from those checks, with their method explained under the result. It is a decision aid, not legal advice.

Can I buy a plan from this site?

Yes. See the plans on the Pricing page, create an account, then choose your plan in the app. Secure payment takes place on Stripe. You can also start with the free plan without a bank card.
